Maria Mykhailivna Korpanyuk – artist-ceramist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine

Maria Korpanyuk graduated from Kosiv College of Applyed Arts, Institute of Arts of Ivano-Frankivsk National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. Nowdays she works as a senior teacher of the Department of Artistic Disciplines of Prykarpattya National University.

As artist-ceramist M. Korpanyuk likes to work with clay and chamotte. Her most famous works are the following: The Carpathians, The Nativity Play, The Prayer, The Enlightened, The Sun, Adam and Eve, The Woman and others.

Maria Mykhailivna’s works have been exhibited at regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions in Russia, Latvia and Italy (Faenza), and are kept in museums of Ivano-Frankivsk and in private collections.

M. Korpanyuk is a recipient of the regional award in the fields of art, architecture and design named after Ya. Lukavetskyi.
